Craft Article Out!!

Amazing Claire and I have an article in the new issue of Craft! The issue is devoted to Japanese crafts and you should be able to pick it up at any Barnes and Noble, Borders, etc. Our article is entitled "7 Handsome Men Who Craft" which I think is a very come-hitherish title indeed...  The focus of our article- Shoichi Ishizawa- is actually someone I met a few years ago at a knitting event in Tokyo while I was with Jenn. He made such an impression on me at the time that I even mentioned him in this post, referring to him only as "Sexy man with a ponytail on top of his head."  Hooray for sexy men with ponytails who craft!

Still Here

Yes I am still alive!! The main reason that I haven`t been posting lately is that until 2 days ago, we once again didn`t have an internet connection at home. To be honest though, I think I`m just feeling overwhelmed these days. I love Switzerland so far but getting settled has been a pain in the ass and much harder than I remember it being when we first moved to Tokyo.  We`ve been here for over two months and are just now getting furniture and the internet. We still don`t have a bed, a sofa, a TV or childcare. The first 3 I can live without but the last is a real toughy. I know it will slowly happen but I`m feeling selfish and impatient. Also isolated.  Several people have written to ask if I`m going to continue posting and the answer is YES. However, I think it`s going to take another month or so for me to really start feeling settled enough to begin posting regularly again. In the meantime, I hope everyone is doing great!
