Find me over at my other blog!
The last few weeks have been crazy busy around here and as I stood in a two-hour line yesterday (with two unhappy kids) in order to replace our stolen identity cards, before going up the mountain to drop off Nico at his ridiculously far-away school, before trying to get some writing done, before taking Luca to physical therapy, before making dinner, before stepping on superman's dismembered plastic leg, before studying Spanish, before trying to lock myself in the closet and rock back and forth for 10 minutes, I realized something. I'm trying to do too much and it's only going to get worse because in less than two weeks I start culinary school AND a new food column for The Jerusalem Post.
So as I waited in line to buy rain boots for Nico (this was about 45 minutes before the closet rocking), I decided that I have to prioritize just a bit more and cut down on a few things in my life. I currently have two blogs and it's been a bit of a challenge to regularly post on both. Since my plan for the next several months is to focus on (and write about) my culinary school experience, I think it makes more sense to dedicate my time to Barcelona Bites, at least for now. If I have time, I will still try to write the occasional post for Johanna Writes but in the meantime, why not head over and check out the latest on Barcelona Bites!
Yes, I fully understand. I also live in Barcelona, but I'm originally from Brazil. I have one little man at home (Max, who's 10 months old) and two blogs.... I had to "retire" one of them temporarily what makes me real sad...
Really enjoy your stories and mostly Nico's dialogues... they are amazing :-)
Good luck with your projects!

I think you are doing the right thing but I love your slice of life descriptions and will miss reading them.
